Discflo Dismisses Patent Suit Against Adaptek

January 27, 2012

PRESS RELEASE

On January 26, 2012, Discflo Corporation dismissed without prejudice its suit for patent infringement against American Process Equipment, Inc. dba Adaptek Pumps, an Illinois corporation ("APEI") and Robert T. Warrender dba Adaptek Pumps ("Warrender").  The lawsuit, filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, alleged that APEI and Warrender infringed one or more claims of Discflo's U.S. Patent No. 7,097,416 entitled "Rotary Disc Pump" (the '416 Patent).   The ‘416 Patent is currently in reexamination proceedings before the United States Patent & Trademark Office.  With this voluntary dismissal, Discflo has reserved its rights to reassert the '416 Patent against APEI and Warrender once the reexamination proceedings have concluded.
